Uptown was created in 1996. The original members were: Chris Jung (XL), Carlos Galvan (Carlitos/Cali-Mexci/SoLRaC), Steve Kim, and Tasha Reid (T/Baby T) [Pictured top left]. They produced several albums before going through some line-up changes, the group disbanded in 2000 due to a drug scandal with Drunken Tiger. All members except for Tasha returned and released an album titled "Testimony" in May of 2006. Jessica H.o. replaced Tasha after being featured in the "Testimony" album [Pictured Top Right].
However, Uptown went through yet another lineup change in 2009, taking out Steve Kim and Carlos Galvan, adding in Roy Kim (Big Chan/Snacky Chan) [Bottom left], Jonathan Moon (Swings) [Bottom center], and Michael Anthony Horton (Maniac) [Bottom right]. The new lineup then changed their name to "UPT" and released their album "New Era". Chris Jung stayed as the producer for the group and added in members Crispy and Brownie, two female members, to their repackaged album "Da Free." In 2010, Crispy left UPT.
Other members not mentioned: Bohra Kim, Young John Kim, Tam Hee Park
